I don't think my T has a FB account but I don't actually know. In any case, if for some reason I did find out that he has an account I would not ask to friend him, and it would be out of character for him to send a request to me. I don't accept friend requests from students either, not until they are no longer my students. I do keep track of which groups of friends my FB posts are visible to, but still.
