Sometimes you can get life insurance. But I think they won't touch you if the attempt was recent. Also, there is normally a clause added that they will either not pay out for a suicide or that here is a time limit (such as 3 years) from the time the policy is in effect, and you had to have been under a doctor's care at the time you suicided.

I can't get insurances because of health reasons. What I want to do is take the money I would have spent on the insurance, and pre-pay my funeral expenses. That way, you will go with the planning of your wishes and not someone who is guessing at what you want. Or having problems collecting insurance, regardless of how you die.
