Hello everybody... I hate decisions and I have to make one right now so I was wondering if anybody with broader knowledge could help?
I am going to individual T and also group T. I am working on writing my final thesis for masters degree which is triggering and therapy is helping me with that and my other issues. A lot of stuff from my past came up and it was overwhelming and hard to deal with so I decided to not dig in it any further and push it all in the back of my mind with the idea that I will get back to it when my thesis is finished (March). I was quite succesful with shutting it up and it is now pretty quiet and "calm".
The problem I have is with my energy level which is chronicly very low, psychosomatic problems, insomnia and no motivation... so my T suggested shiatsu to help with the energy flow etc. But my group Pdoc (also T) said that this type of work can also unblock stuff I fight to keep away for now. So Iīm wondering can bodytherapy bring up all the emotions and past trauma bc that would NOT be helpful for now at all?
Also I pay all out of pocket and I canīt afford bodytherapy and group T at the same time so I would have to chose one.
Thank you all for any input and mainly if somebody has experience with body therapy and how it works that would be fantastic if you can share.
