Hi folks,

If you're using one of the hundreds of default avatars here in the forums as YOUR avatar, that's great!! But chat only looks for custom avatars. There's an easy fix for this issue.

First, find a post you've written, and then right-click on the avatar and choose "Copy image location" or "Copy image URL."

Then go here:

and scroll down to the very bottom of that page. There, you'll see an option called "Custom Avatar." Click on the radio button next to "Use Custom Avatar," put your cursor in the box under "Option 1", erase what's there, and then Paste the image URL into that box. It should start with an "http://pcf2" if it's coming from Psych Central.

Then click "Save changes."

The next time you enter chat, your avatar should appear!
