Saw my endo this past Wednesday and he said he is not completely sold that what's causing my high growth hormone levels is from my antipsychotic, but my research says that pituitary tumors are sometimes treated with dopamine. My antipsychotic decreases dopamine. I mentioned that dopamine is said to keep growth hormones in check. He replied, "yes and no", but went on to say that it's up to my discretion whether or not to come off my AP and try Lamictal. He also said that if there is a tumor it has to come out. Great.

I'm scheduled for an MRI this coming Monday.
