Thanks, cyber. It looks to be riboflavin deficiency. There are only a couple of things that seem to cause the curled/bent toe thing in chicks. The one that matches most with the other main symptom (they're resting on their hocks and not moving around much) is the B2 deficiency. I'm going to supplement with B2 and see if things improve.
