I don't know…maybe it's because I'm kinda desperate deep down and I would wait for months, years even. I mean, since no one is ever interested in me, so if there's even a slight chance that someone actually is/was for a few minutes, I'll hold on to it.

Also, when one decides to wait on the other, wouldn't that also be "playing hard to get"? I mean, is it wrong to stop texting someone when you get tired of initiating the conversation all the time and hope that he would talk to you after not hearing from you for a few days.

I guess my point is that unless you have other options (or usually have other options become available on a regular basis) maybe talk to him one more time and explain how you feel (at least about the lack of communication etc.) and then if he doesn't care, then move on.

But I may just feel like that because I never have the other options and I tend to wait for months at least. The last time I waited a little over a year. I've been waiting for about 3 months this time around.
