If you can take care of your dogs wellfare, do not give them away. You will never forgiver yourself and definitely grieve their absense. I had to give a dog away once that I loved but the difference was that I had to choose one of two. Due to fighting between them. I have never forgiven myself even though I made the only decision I could.
