Is it your dog or your mom's?

The dog could be trained to stay on a small rug nearby. My dog is this way, he just wants to be as Close As Possible, so he sits on a rug that I can move to where I am. That way I know where he is and I don't trip over him. (no sense breaking my neck over it!)
