Hi I'm a 43 year old who have parents who still hates me since I left home when I was 17 years old. I've been reading your advice to younger children about moving out and gaing back their respect, however, I want to Re-connect with my mom and pop. My mother keeps on bringing up all the bad things that makes me a bad daughter and my sister (38 years old) joins in with my mother. My father talks to me but he just steps back and lets both my mother and sister talk down on me. Is there any way for me to get them to love me or should I just forget the whole thing?
