Yesterday, xmas eve, I was in a very bad place emotionally and normally I would have texted my T just to reach out. She usually can respond in 6 or less words and be very helpful. Maybe it's just knowing that someone who knows you so well is aware that the times are pretty tough.

I did get through the day and today was much better. What we learn is that our T is helpful and desired but not always absolutely needed. We can manage.

I do have a session with her Friday so I'll be able to discuss with her more fully what had happened to me.
