This could probably go on the sexual issues forum, but I feel more comfortable placing it here, so guys can't/aren't supposed to answer.

So, I am wondering if masturbating on Saturday caused my UTI. I have an ob/gyn appointment on Monday and am thinking about asking, but don't know if I should. I have tried googleing and have got mixed responses, but am really curious.

Is it okay to ask an ob/gyn something like this? I don't want to look abnormal. I know my T has told me masturbation is completely normal, but I don't know how a medical professional would respond to it.

I do want to know though if an UTI can be caused by this though, so I can be more cautious in the future to prevent getting one again. Would an ob/gyn be able to answer this?

I am going back and forth on whether I should ask or not on Monday.
