I am having major problems with chat. It is likely on my end, but I can't figure out where to fix/turn off/disable/blow up what, exactly.

It is repeating text many many times. Like twenty times or more.
Of anyone that inputs text.

And I can't deal with that.

I was actually hoping to get some real time communication going on and haven't been able to do that, using four different browsers: IE [latest version, don't remember what it is], firefox [don't know what version], safari and chrome- latest versions, and chrome in- oh my god my brain isn't working lately and at this point I'm kind of feeling like I need to have someone put flowers on a lab rodent's grave all the time... and can't remember what it's called when you go into that hide mode in chrome.

But i know the lab rat's name was algernon in that book/play.

So, see? Live chat would be nice right now, obviously my brain is offline. Only I can't get there from here.

Anyone's advice as to how one would attack this issue would help.
