I ran into the same situation last April. No private insurance would take me because of my bipolar diagnosis. I'm fortunate that in January I qualify for Obamacare. Meanwhile, I had to go off the meds I was on and go on only generics and have had to pay out of pocket. I've been in a deep depression ever since. None of the older drugs are working.

Support from PC is how I have been handling it. Thank goodness they put up with my negative posts because some of them are pretty dark and desperate.
