I have had alters that got older. Take your time and you don't have to understand it all. There are things that go on with my alters that I don't understand and they do their own thing. When it is time for me to understand, then I will. Some takes time and then other times it just is like a light bulb goes on. Take time for yourself(s) and be kind to yourself(s).
