1. You can use underscores to show spaces in a custom room name, I believe.

2. There's no technical reason this should happen throughout the day, but there are two times a day when the server needs to do some house-cleaning and it could happen during those times. One is around 5:00 am ET, and the other is around 3:40 am ET.

We can't do anything about the house cleaning issues, as it keeps the server healthy. But I'll see if the devs can do something more about notifying if something isn't right (it's supposed to already, but apparently it doesn't always).
