It makes me sad to undertake this activity. I've done it at least a dozen times, but here's the thing. It doesn't matter if I make a list of 5 or 50 or 500 things that are my best qualities or features.
Because the other things take up my emotions. I obsess over them. I wish I could fix them. They absorb my attention in a way that the positive list rarely does.
-- I am intelligent (which doesn't stop me from being an emotional cripple and fool).
-- I write well (and I can use it like a whip to hurt people).
-- I care about my students (but my emotional IQ handicaps me from expressing that effectively.)
-- I don't do intentional harm to others.
-- I am responsible.
