Hi Moose, its difficult to say...should you take the ativan? I don't take it now but there were times when I was agitated and psychotic and the hospital gave me benzos to help me. They helped me, but I don't take them when I'm not in the hospital. Some people are different--they need to take them on a regular basis. I hear you--you are struggling--anxious--do what is best for you. Maybe talk with your T or pdoc about it.......D.
