I have been on 100mg of Pristiq for 6 weeks. I had been having a few twinges of pins and needles in my toes but last night the pins and needs cranked up to include my feet and hands. I thought my extra blurry vision was due to reading too much until I read the CMI information sheet. Blurry vision is also listed.
As I wont be seeing my p'doc for another 2 weeks I will make the decision to drop it back to 50mg and see what happens. But I know my p'doc wont consider that enough as a therapeutic dose for depression. So I will possibly find myself trying another medication.
Over many years I have been on heaps of different medications. The only one that seemed to work was Serzone but that has been taken off the market in Australia.
I have nothing against taking medication but it seems that my body will spit the dummy against these foreign invaders. It would be nice if I didn't have to be on anything.

Dear Possum -
Do you know for sure that 50 mgs of Pristiq will not work for you? Often, the PsychMD will not raise your dose until you find it is not working well for you. I would try to cut back and see what happens. You may only need 50 mgs. No need to be over-medicated. I am on 50 mgs and I am doing fine at that dose.
Good luck.
