It sounds like this T has a different style therapy that you don't meld with. I would say, move onto another T, this one is obviously not your sense of style. But, you also said before that you don't have any other options with T's due to your lack of work & this being free for you now.

You sound American to me (just by your lingo), so I know that I could be wrong. Do you have a County Social Worker? Are you getting County Assistance at all? Whether or not you're an eligible candidate depends on a few factors, but the one most applicable is household income level.

It can't hurt to go and apply. While some people hate their county social workers, mine has always been very helpful to me. She has come up with residential mental assistance (when I needed it), driving assistance to pick up my daughters from my ex-hub's apt., food assistance, mental health facilities, and more! She has all sorts of information available at her fingertips & knows what I am applicable for. If you haven't tried that yet, I really do recommend giving it a shot.

There may be other mental health clinics (or individuals) that do accept county funding to help those who are in lower financial brackets.

I hope that this idea can help you ~ best wishes!
