I just got my test result and that my Herpes type 1 is measured at 2.2 which is a positive.

May I ask, is herpes type 1 common and is it dangerous? They say it is transmitted via saliva or skin contact. I don't even know where I got my herpes from.

What should I do about this? I'm worried sick trying to figure this out. I don't know if I could have a normal life again,sigh.
