I know you've tried to get her to help you find another one. If you really feel like this cannot work, write down the reasons why you think it cannot work then give her the paper. That way, she can't go b****y on you about that. Then politely tell her, at this moment, the best way you can help me, is to help me find another therapist that I can connect to better because as long as I can't connect to you, it won't help me. Maybe you should also mention to her that you feel like, she doesn't want to help you because you feel like she won't let you develop a relationship with her.

If she out right refuses, get in touch with your old t? See if she will help find you someone. She might know someone who does it for free because they are with an organisation. You could say something along the lines: I feel like my current t is putting up a brick wall and not letting me in, so I can't develop a relationship with her because she won't let me get close enough. I know that you wanted me to try, and I have. I have tried my hardest to make it work. But it hasn't. She isn't right for me and I am not right for her. Please can you help me find someone who will let me connect with them. I really want therapy to work because I want to sort my problems out.
