I SH on and off. I found that doing this, gave me some sort of pain but it doesn't actually harm me and it is quite healthy!
Wall Push Ups
Try it at least. And when you do try, your in control. You can make it hurt as little or as much as you like by holding your position half way for as long as you can. It also works for anger. It's better then SH and other forms of self harm. It probably won't work for everyone because what does? But it might work, so maybe just try it to see?
Also, this is my first time admitting it. When people ask I usually deny deny deny.
