The insideous thing about BPD is that we have a type of amnesia for lack of a better term. When we are feeling good, we think all is good, that we've licked the worst of it and that we on our way to being "cured", while when we feel bad, the end is near and we'll never feel good again, and the bad thing is that the two opposite feelings can happen mere minutes apart. It's horrible but it's the nature of the beast. Take some consolation in that others understand and enjoy the good times as much as you can and don't dwell on the bad. I know that's much easier said than done, but what else can we do?
