I agree with above - it is different but seems to stem from the same concerns and emotions you are having. It can also be very dangerous for your health. If you can I really would suggest speaking to a doctor just to check that it isn't doing any damage physically.

It is quite common to have eating concerns alongside self-injury (or swap between the two) as it comes from similar issues and needs for control and release.

As someone mentioned too, it might be worth looking through the Eating Disorders forum to see what others have been through and how they have worked through it
