There's no book that comes with us! I think our mothers were supposed to figure out what made us happy. What made us poop regular! I had to figure that out at this old age - it makes a difference. A HUGE difference. But i think normal people and olympic athletes probably poop regular and easy as soon as they get up - ghey dont worry about it, they can go ahead and exercise without thinking oh no wait i havent pooped yet, or theyre not tired all day cuz they havent pooped. Honestly i think my mother liked having a chronically constipated kid cuz it meant all i did was sit on the couch - which was probably another reason i didnt poop! Sorry to get all poopy on you! But it took me maybe two years to make this a dependable (ha ha sorry!) habit. Im sure this is another situation where my t is thinking, is THIS why i studied all those years??

Have you read Geneen Roth's books? She says to try to stabilize your weight first. Stop gaining, then move on from that. I say, start pooping, then learn to start feeding yourself. Wanting sweets usually means i havent had enough protein. The last couple of months ive gotten bags of frozen meatballs from trader joes, but before that it was cans of chicken or tuna fish. With bread and guacamole. Im not losing, but im stable. And im starting to eat more veg and less sweets. T says consistency.
Thanks for this!
