Here is some INFO I have gathered from my GP -

DAILY SUPPLEMENTS FOR MENOPAUSE:

1.) Progesterone Cream (1/4-1/2 tsp)
2.) Evening Primrose Oil (1300 mg 3x daily)
3.) 5-HTTP (insomnia or anxiety)
4.) Vitamin C (1000 mg)
5.) Vitamin E (400 IU)
6.) Multiple Vitamin & Mineral
7.) Flax Oil (1000 mg)
8.) Black Cohosh (80-160 mg)
9.) Adrenal Glandular

OTHER SUPPLEMENTS:

1.) Black Currant Seed Oil
2.) Red Raspberry
3.) Licorice (adrenal health)
4.) Fiber (if needed for constipation)

Symptoms – Hot flashes, memory loss, depression and irritability, mood swings, anxiety, vaginal dryness and pain, insomnia, low sex drive, night sweats, incontinence, weight gain, inability to focus and concentrate, heart palpitations and nausea.

Dietary Considerations – Add soy foods to your diet and eat fresh vegetables, fruits and nuts. Eat small meals throughout the day instead of three large ones. Limit sugar, pies, caffeine, cakes, pastries, red meat and dairy products.

Lifestyle Choices – Do weight bearing exercise and Pilates, Practice deep breathing, enjoy laughter - have a good laugh daily, massage therapy.
