Again, thanks for all of the support I've gotten. It makes a tense situation a little easier to deal with.

It looks like I'll be keeping my job, for awhile anyway. My boss spoke to his boss , and the feeling is that with us being an ISO9000 company, mine is a critical position and one they can't do without. They would pretty much have to be looking to go out of business to close out my job. But, if sales don't increase a great deal over the next year, that's exactly what may happen. So, I'll keep working hard, and do my best to help the company be successful, but at the same time I feel like I have to keep my eyes and ears open for other opportunities. God, I feel like I've dodged yet another bullet.

All I really want is a job where I can go to work everyday (well, except for vacations and holidays), work hard, be part of a team, feel good about what I do, and then when it's time, retire and spend the rest of my life hanging out with my wife.

Is that asking too much? When did life become so damned complicated?
