This is true... the story is funnier than the joke.

I know someone who works for Disney, at one point writing for their kids magazine "Adventures"? or something? He was writing jokes for one issue for Spongebob Squarepants. One joke he submitted was "Why does Sandy Squirrel like Spongebob so much?" Answer: Because he is nuts!"

Well the Disney people thought that using "nuts" in that context might insult people with mental disorders (should I take a poll here?) i.e. "nuts" as a synonym for "crazy". So they edited the joke. The final joke: "Why does Sandy Squirrel like Spongebob so much?" "Answer: because he is silly"

Ummm have these people ever heard of a PUN? Their edit doesn't make any sense at all. Censors. Sheesh.
