It happened almost 32 yrs ago. My husband and I had just gone through the wedding ceremony in the back yard of our brand new home, my dream home! The caterer started pouring the champange and handed me and my husband's ours first. Then it happened. I guess somewhere in there, the others got their own champagne. I had no idea he was going to do it, and I doubt he did it, either. He turned around to the group assembled, lifted his glass and said "Ladies and gentlemen... " then turned to me, looked in my eyes and said "... my wife!" We interlocked arms, sipped our champagne and I leaned into him bawling my eyes out!

He's always been able to touch me so deeply that I just bawl! Those times are few and far between, but it happens.
