Why are some of you suggesting the OP get off the medication?

This is what happens with sleeping pills if you take them and then stay up instead of going to bed. Obviously the OP has been prescribed them for a reason.

I have had similar experiences on Zopiclone and Seroquel. It doesn't happen if I take my meds and go to bed within an hour. If I stay up, I could eat my way through the house, send random emails, do all these things that I'm not aware of until the next day.

It doesn't mean you stop taking the med. You learn how to live around the side effects.
