I had a horrible experience with Lexapro. It shot me off in a mania that ruined my life. I wish I never took it and the doctor never prescribed it. My life would have been better off if I never took anything, now I am dependent on drugs for the rest of my life.

That Lexapro mania led to a bunch of hospitalizations that I regret. If the mania lasts I suggest talking to the doctor that gave it to you, or switch you to the citalopram.

I just had a really bad experience with it.
