My last manic episode (in October) featured this phenomenon, and my hallucinations were of classical music too, only classical music that's never been written and doesn't exist in this world. It was WEIRD. Not particularly scary, but I knew it wasn't possible and yet I was hearing the music from outside, as if my stereo had been playing at the time.
