I had the same thing going, not sure when or how it stopped affecting me in a big way. Though i don't think it would end unless you deal with it, speak it out to someone. But believe that her saying this is not about/because of you it's about her. Like:
"I'm so jealous of my friends, I wish I had a son like theirs." Why is she jealous of friends, why isn't she happy with her life? She's just blaming the son part on you. Ignore it.
