TV is stimulating so thats not going to work. Try turning off ALL electronic devices 2 hours before bed. When was the last time you had caffeine? Cutting that from your diet could dramatically improve your sleeping habits. Have you tried a nice warm shower, mug of warm milk and fresh sheets on your bed? (Make the bed before the shower so its ready for you when you get out). Is this an ongoing thing? What about melatonin?
