Okay, I asked this on another website but didn't get a reply so I was hoping someone here would be able help.

Basically whenever I'm having a conversation with someone, which is usually my Dad or Mum, it will get to the point where I struggle to comprehend what the other person is saying and it starts to sound like noises coming out of their mouth rather than words, almost like they're speaking in a different language, and I completely lose the conversation, it's as though I go into some sort of trance. It's hard to explain but it's like the words they're speaking become foreign to me. Does anyone know what this might be? Could it be a psychotic symptom because I do have other psychotic symptoms and am on antipsychotic medication.

Thanks in advance!
