Doc - I'm curious too, about what problems your patients have experienced with Provigil. I'm supposed to start taking this soon because my doc thinks Adderall will be too stimulating and result in more mania. It takes a ton of drugs to knock me out each night without which I would not sleep at all (which leads to more mania). But with everything it takes to knock me out, I have a bear of a time waking up.

I'm supposed to take the Provigil first thing after the alarm goes off - assuming I hear the alarm. Maybe I can get my spouse to poke it into my mouth and it will pop me out of bed. I really need something to switch me on, but I don't want to waste my time on Provigil if Adderall would be more effective or if Provigil causes more problems than solutions.

Oh, how I love the crazy meds dance. I think they call it bipolar because you have to take drugs to knock you out then take the opposite ones to wake you up
