I've heard that changes in estrogen levels make it worse. High estrogen pills generally aren't a good option and for some the pill in general can increase the symptoms. Tends to be worse in young adults and then again later in life for menopause.
I've never been told any of this by a dr or pdoc but I've found a fair bit online about it.
