And recently (within the last 2.5 years) the trend has been that I don't stay at job longer than 6 months. 6 mark period I quit/switch jobs and the main reason has NEVER been about the actual work the job requires, but the PEOPLE I work with, or work for. I struggle with interpersonal relationships at work and always seem to have conflict in one way or another that ultimately causes me to leave my job or get fired. Idk what to do... I've been unemployed for 3 weeks now, (I just quit my job because my boss is an uber b-word who treated me like crap and one day I just couldn't take it anymore and walked out). My bf said he would support me through the holidays but that I'd have to start looking for a new job in the beginning of the new year. Well the new year is already upon us and I'm freaking out!
Just wondering if anyone knows about any legitimate work from home opportunities? I think I'm much better suited for this kind of work considering my past experience working the "real world." I think I'd be a great virtual assistant, customer service rep, or freelance writer. I just don't know where to go to find these jobs, because I feel like most online ads are basically scams. Please let me know if you know of anything or can point me in the right direction! My bank account is slowly reaching zero, and I REALLY don't think I can stand another crappy job in a terrible work environment! My sanity and livelihood are at stake! Private message me if you don't feel comfortable posting something, thank you!

It might be worth contacting your local state Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) to help you find the right type of work for you since you have BD. My memories of working in offices with terrible 'office politics' going on and the difficulties I had with coworkers prompts me to respond to you. With this disability, one can sometimes still be fortunate enough to be able to work at a job, but finding the right type of job is paramount. I just could not deal with those people at that time. This happens with BD, difficulties in personal and working relationships. I agree that some type of work at home may be best. DVR could possibly help you with schooling to prepare you for the right kind of work. You will need to give them feedback from your p-doc and also therapist if you have one. They can do some amazing things for people sometimes. You can cite your work history as backup for why you are coming to them re being fired and working only briefly at several jobs. This is not uncommon for those with BD and they need to know that. I think they would be a legitimate resource for you, but be sure you give them access to all of your info re work history and medical diagnosis. After thinking it over carefully, tell them what you need. Good luck!
