While I was traveling last week I had the nausea side-effect mostly because of rushing to my connection and not having much to eat. Then again the next day and when zip-lining... later that day I got sick on a sail boat even when I hardly ever get seasick.
Seeing how I'm a fairly active person most of the year plus I would like to learn how to sail this summer maybe, I'm a little worried! I use to be a runner and would like to start trying to be in a bit more peck condition to train to run in a Marathon... which I've been saying for years LOL. Just to give you a bit of an idea what kind of condition I am in now. It's been years since I've seriously done any running. Yet, two years ago I started running with a club twice a week. Ran two races after training for a few months. On was a 10K where I had a personal goal of getting somewhere close to my old PR which was 45 minutes and 20 years before, I did it in 56 minutes. Same for a 5K where my PR had been 21:06.21 and 19 years later ran it around 28 minutes and that was where I began when I started running in 5K races at 15. I've stayed in pretty good shape over the years because I ride bikes, rollerblade and just don't slow down much when the weather warms up here.
So, if it's the activeness that is the cause of the nausea it would be a very problematic side-effect. I've had it here an there while getting started on Strattera and I would just eat bigger breakfasts. It helps if I eat oatmeal, toast with eggs or just eggs... so maybe I just need to change my diet?
I'm a busy person so Strattera is actually a perfect drug for me. I don't have to carry it with me just incase I need it. I don't have to watch my moods and so on. So, I really want it to work but wondering which side-effects are going to hang around or do some just get better as I'm on it longer?
