It always takes some time to get back in the swig of therapy after breaks and the less often I see her the longer it takes.

I relate to this. I have been so frustrated due to illness and brutally cold weather. I haven't seen my T since Dec. 6 because of car problems, illness, and holiday schedules. I am supposed to see her tomorrow afternoon, but I feel as though I have either the flu or a sinus infection (which impacts me more than illness ever did before, thanks to MS, diabetes, and just plain getting older!). Plus, we in Wisconsin are being urged to travel only if absolutely necessary, since we may experience wind chills of 50 to 60 below zero! I have to drive 1 1/2 hours one way to therapy, and I think it would be foolhardy of me to risk traveling. C.R.A.P.

I'm sorry you're bummed out. Will your T connect with you by phone? I left mine a voicemail asking if we could do that tomorrow, but I don't know if she'll do much more than her usual very brief, i.e., less than 5 minutes, "touching base" by phone.

Hope you are able to get some kind of support to get through this until you can start going to T again consistently.

I'm hoping to make some phone calls tomorrow to see if there's any way to get a free or very low-cost severe weather survival kit for my car. I can't afford to buy one, nor can I afford to make my own. I have some of the items I need, but others are too expensive for me. Oh well, at least I'll try to be proactive about the situation.
