Plus, we in Wisconsin are being urged to travel only if absolutely necessary, since we may experience wind chills of 50 to 60 below zero! I have to drive 1 1/2 hours one way to therapy, and I think it would be foolhardy of me to risk traveling. C.R.A.P.

I'm sorry you're bummed out. Will your T connect with you by phone? I left mine a voicemail asking if we could do that tomorrow, but I don't know if she'll do much more than her usual very brief, i.e., less than 5 minutes, "touching base" by phone.

Hope you are able to get some kind of support to get through this until you can start going to T again consistently.

I'm hoping to make some phone calls tomorrow to see if there's any way to get a free or very low-cost severe weather survival kit for my car. I can't afford to buy one, nor can I afford to make my own. I have some of the items I need, but others are too expensive for me. Oh well, at least I'll try to be proactive about the situation.

Here I'm complaining that I haven't got to see My T my standard twice weekly and you haven't seen your T in a month. My T even saw me once during Christmas break.
I'm in Indiana and our temperatures are 20 to 30 below but I don't have to worry about such a long drive. Also, I'm not currently ill. It's just awful that you have all these illnesses keeping you down and even if you felt well, you'd still have to drive so far in such crummy weather.

I can always email my T and if I need to, she will talk with me on the phone. However, the office is still open and my appointment wasn't canceled so I was just whining for no reason.

Btw: I have 4 wheel drive and I keep a cold weather kit (of sorts) in my SUV. I hope you can find some help getting one together for your car. It's really important to keep your car prepared for the worst.

On a lighter note. My cat is driving me crazy wanting out then right back in 2 minutes later.
