buttrfli... sorry to hear of your continuing issues. We've tested and confirmed chat works fine on Chrome on all Windows platforms, including 8.1, so dunno what it could be. Do you have a malware blocker, ad blocker, or virus software that might be causing the issue...?

Have you tried no-popup chat to see if that might work?
