I've been in this situation so many times now and I still don't know how to deal with it. Ever since I started SI-ing, I've become way more aware of the ppl around me and whether or not they do it too.

So my question is, what should you do if you see someone that you know is SI-ing, but you don't know them well? At all? Like, you're just acquaintances, you know each others names and see each other for work/ school, but not much outside of that.

It breaks my heart each time to see someone struggling with SI, and I desperately want to say something to them but it might be inappropriate because we don't know each other well at all. Or even worse, you think they relapsed but you don't know for sure because they might not be doing it in a visible place anymore.

Please, any suggestions for how to help people you don't know well?
