It is a big relief when that gets approved. A lot less than you made before, yes. But, a lot of businesses and apartment buildings have programs that even things out a bit.
We own our house so no discounts. My husband makes too much money for us to qualify for any funding.

I have done some reading and apparently only 40% of people who apply get approved on their first application. I was approved in 2 weeks. It makes me wonder what my doctor and pdoc put in the medical forms.

Are you on CPP-disability? That is what I am on and was my only option. The government needs to spend more on mental health and maybe some of the other issues will lessen.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I know I am lucky to be getting as much as I am and it will certainly help our family. I wish I could be working but at this time it just is not possible.
