I'm guessing because those two questions tug at our self-worth. Addiction expert Russell Willingham said in his book 'Breaking Free' that we all have basic human drives. Two of which are the need to make an impact and also the need to feel competent.

I believe every person is uniquely suited to solve a specific world problem: small, medium, or large. Mindinpieces, you have a very specific skill set; you have very specific interests, and you have unique passions that make you an instrument of well-being and transformation for a specific set of circumstances.

When you understand in what direction to "point" these strengths, it creates vision, and vision has the power to change the outcome of your very life, even to save it. I know it can because it saved MY life and helped me move through addiction, abuse, anger, and apathy to a place of more security, purpose, fulfillment, opportunity, and hope. There is more to you than you know.

Mindinpieces, you are gifted, and more powerful than you can imagine. Everything you need to change your life is inside you.

Keep on seeking,
Marius Massie
Thanks for this; just want to say it helped me to hear this.
