Just got home from the dr. He said he saw no signs of a bacterial infection and thinks it may be viral. But just in case he sent me down to the lab for a flu test, a strep test, and an urinalysis to make sure the UTI didn't come back. He said it may sound stupid but because I am of childbearing age insurance requires he do a pregnancy test too even if I am abstinent. He said once I was done in the lab, he should have the results in about an hour and would give me a call. He said if they find anything that he will call a prescription in for me, otherwise it is viral and could take up to 10 days to get out of my system.

Since I was in there on the 3rd for follow-up for the UTI I have lost 5 pounds. 5 pounds in 10 days is a lot. I assume it is because I haven't eaten in 2 days because I've been too nauseous to.
