I know this is much easier said than done. But you need to live in the now and be in the present. We have no control over the future or the past. Worrying about the future will just add needless anxiety. It's awful to make mountains out of molehills - which is almost always the case. Living in the now is I believe a Zen philosophy. Another good resource is the book Full Catastrophe Living. Also, meditation even if you have to start with self guided it can help. When I feel overwhelmed I try to break things down into small realistic tasks.
