I feel like I should clarify that I don't really want to die and that
I don't want to kill myself. But I do get intense thoughts about that I should just die and that I "want" to do so when I for example fail things.
Anyway, he does the same thing with other subjects as well. He for example says things like
"perhaps you shouldn't go take that exam",
"perhaps you should just quit" when I tell him about my fear of failure etc. Like I said, I don't get it.
Do therapists normally use this kind of method? I'm not sure what he wants to accomplish.
