Heat pack all the way! I just got the mirena put in after they blew up my uterus and had a good look around and flush out, so my uterus is slowly shrinking back to size and adapting to the mirena - resulting in cramping. The heat pack has been far more helpful than any of the codeine meds they gave me. Hotter is better.
